Nickelodeon And Legacy Recordings Release The Legend of Korra: Original Music from Book One, Available On July 16

Nickelodeon and Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, will release the first-ever The Legend of Korra soundtrack - The Legend of Korra: Original Music From Book One — available digitally and in stores everywhere on Tuesday, July 16. Showcasing 26 original instrumental tracks from Nickelodeon's hit Emmy-nominated animated series, the highly-anticipated album features music composed by Emmy-winning composer, Jeremy Zuckerman. Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn form The Track Team, the company behind the music and sound design for The Legend of Korra and the critically acclaimed Avatar: The Last Airbender. The album is currently available for pre-order from online retailers.

About The Legend of Korra

Launched in April 2011, the first season of The Legend of Korra was one of Nickelodeon's top animated series with tweens 9-14 across all TV and as basic cable's top kids' program with total viewers averaging 3.8 million viewers per episode. About Jeremy Zuckerman

Jeremy Zuckerman is an Emmy-winning composer and electric guitarist whose work has been heard across the globe, from the Walt Disney Concert Hall to television sets in over 100 countries. Jeremy currently writes the music for The Legend of Korra and along with Benjamin Wynn, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. Jeremy also composed the original music score to the Peabody Award-winning TV series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. In addition to his work in TV and film, Jeremy has collaborated with choreographers, theater directors, and rock icon David Lee Roth.
